[D-multisensory] position



POSTDOCTORAL POSITION

A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the laboratory of Professor Krish Sathian, MD, PhD, in the Department of Neurology at Emory University School of Medicine. The position is initially for two years with the possibility of extension for a third year. The work involves exciting research into the sensory and language functions of visual cortex in the blind, using psychophysical and functional MRI methods, and is funded by a research grant from the NIH. The position also offers the opportunity to interact with other members of a close-knit research team studying sensory processes, language and memory in various contexts, and with the wider neuroimaging and neurorehabilitation communities in the area. Candidates should have a PhD with expertise in sensory systems or language. Experience with neuroimaging is desirable. Salary conforms to NIH postdoctoral scales.
