[D-multisensory] IMRF 2011 Call for Symposia
IMRF 2011 Call for Symposia
We invite proposals for symposia to be held at the IMRF Annual
Meeting in Sendai, Japan (4-8.Jun.2011). Four to six symposia will
be scheduled, each lasting two hours.
We are looking for proposals for symposia covering coherent sets
of current topics in multisensory processing.
Our aim is to solicit 'open' proposals where the proposers
identify perhaps 4 speakers with another two chosen from
conference submissions that complement the topic of the symposium.
Symposia will be selected by the IMRF Organizers based on the
evaluation of Advisory Board members on the basis of scientific
merit, timeliness, theoretical innovation and/or breadth,
methodological innovation and/or diversity. Proposals from young
investigators are particularly encouraged.
Since IMRF2011 is held in Japan, we would like to put a little
stress on technologies and high-level perception and cognition,
which could be expressed by a word "kansei"
However, proposals relating not only to this field but also to any
fields that may interest multisensory people are highly welcome.
The deadline for proposals is the 7th of January 2011.
We look forward to hearing from you.
