[D-multisensory] Virtual Journal of Multisensory Research

Well,

After 3 years of development (and several distracting kids), I
believe we are almost prepared to launch a new Virtual Journal of
Multisensory Research. This Journal would be located at
www.multisense.info and would have monthly issues of all new articles
published in a month that the author wished entered into the
database. In order to initiate the system, we need to decide on
applicable subject headings to classify articles. At present, we are
using the Library of Congress Subject Areas. These are not
satisfactory in that there are many categories that do not belong and
there are many subdivisions that are missing. So, I'm asking all
those interested in participating in the development of this Journal
to have a look at the existing categories and suggest new categories
that fit with our research.

You can access the subject recommendation page by logging into
www.multisense.info. In the top left corner of the screen is a block
that says 'Virtual Journal'. click there and there will be a section
to delete existing categories or suggest new categories as
subcategories of those existing.

This will only take you 10-15 minutes and will be invaluable to the
community as a resource for multisensory articles.

thanks,

David
