Thank you for this link. I recall the design quite well. I toured the reactors
at the Smolensk NPP during the RBMK safety review program. They were remarkable, although I noticed quality and
human performance issues there, compared to the CANDU plants here.
I was told the capacity factors of the RBMK
reactors was much better than that of the VVER reactors.
