MfD: 2.7 USD coal-fired power plant to be built in the Czech Republic

The website of the Czech daily Mlada fronta Dnes has quoted the head of the
E.ON power company Wulf Bernotat as saying that his organisation are going
to build a brown-coal-fired power plant in conjunction with Czech coalmining
giant Mostecka uhelna.
According to Mlada fronta Dnes, talks between the two companies on the plant
should be concluded in a few months and that it will involve an investment
of 56.5 billion Czech crowns or 2.7 billion US dollars.
