[cdn-nucl-l] Hamilton City Council meeting - Monday the 14th

Dear Canadian friends -

I am certain that quite a few members of this list are
aware of this event, but wanted to send this to the
list.

If anyone is within easy distance of Hamilton,
Ontario, there will be a city council meeting of
interest on Monday morning the 14th.

The council will hear delegations to speak about a
non-binding, but highly biased anti-nuclear resolution
that is being sponsored by one of the city council
members.

The City Council needs to hear the facts about
Ontario's need for plentiful, emissions-free
electrical power. The City Council also needs to
support (rather than condemn) the students and faculty
who are doing valuable engineering work within the
Hamilton city limits.

Full details with links to the City Council documents
and schedule may be found at this blog post:

Best wishes to all!
