I believe that hot fusion will never provide any useful electricity for 
human civilization.  I'll take your bet.  Even if ITER achieves a small 
amount of energy output, it will never be manageable.  It's like 
windmills - too much trouble for what you get.

The jury is still out for cold fusion - IMHO.

And there seems to be so many improvements possible with fission that I 
am amazed that anyone even thinks about fusion.
