LOVINS: Nuclear costs too much and it has excessive financial risk. In no new nuclear project around the world is there a penny of private capital at risk. Perhaps someone in Canada could write to the Star and point out that the
current new nuclear power plant in Finald is being funded by private companies,
shareholders and pension funds, not by the state or any arms length government
organisation.
I was very surprised at just how many companies, pension funds etc want a
slice of the new reactor project in Finland, for more details see:
P33 has diagram of Finland shoowing all of the organisations that have an
interest in this project.
