My goodness - I guess we are just going to have to run right into those
brick walls before we believe that they are there.
We have to switch to plugin electric transportation, and other systems
like electric trains. The problem is lack of air - a combustion based
transportation system makes the air too dirty. So add 15000 MWe to the
report's recommendations for Ontario, or figure out another way for
people to get oxygen into their bodies.
We don't have enough air and water to dig up all that tar in Alberta and
burn it. It does not matter how much tar there is, the limitations are
air and water. And there is a moral factor - why destroy the surface of
Alberta where people and animals live if we have a better alternative?
We are destroying Alberta (and Quebec) for no reason.
