Few attend hearings on nuclear plants

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission should consider the environmental
impact of Nine Mile Point's nuclear plants on zebra mussels, said one
speaker at a meeting Thursday night at Scriba Town Hall.

The comment was one of several made by five people who attended public
meetings held by the federal nuclear agency to review the environmental
impact of renewing Constellation Energy's licenses for its two nuclear
plants in Oswego County.
