Looks like Europe is realizing the value of fission.

I do admire the rigidity of the Greens as shown in this story.  They 
will never let facts and reality deflect them from their chosen path. 
  I hope that common sense will keep most people out of this movement.

Ontario now has its own report that states that nuclear power is the 
best choice, and the success of Pickering 1 to point to.  What is 
keeping them from announcing new nuclear plants?  Could it be fear of 
our own enviro-alarmists?  Or more likely, fear of the impact on the 
oil and coal industry?

I've done a bit more reading on plug-in hybrid cars.  They work just 
fine.  Kits are available to convert a Prius.  With 20 new reactors we 
could power most of our transportation using this technology, with a 
huge impact on pollution.

Let's get this show on the road!
