interest to use nuclear power as a clean and increasingly economical 
way to meet the growing demand for electricity.

I like those terms "clean" and "economical".

So it looks like things are beginning to move in the US.

Which brings me to Canada.  A federal election is coming up.  I want 
to support a candidate who favours the use of nuclear power.  What do 
you think my chances of finding one are?  What good is democracy if 
the option that I want is not even offered?  So for the first time in 
my life I actually considered the option of not voting.
