As I recall, there is a beach somewhere in S. America - maybe Brazil - to
which people go to be buried in the sand, black sand as I recall, which
contains a high amount of uranium ore(s).  This is because of the alleged
good health effects of said purying.

There are people there whose job it is is to do the burying, as well as
other catering to the rich-and-lazy whom they bury.

Seems to me that these employees are exposed to low levels of radiation for
really extended periods of time.  I wonder what health effects, if any, that
these people undergo?
