[cdn-nucl-l] Greenhouse Gas and Climate Change Understanding

Dear Jaro,

Your quote from the Montreal Gazette helps to reveal why polls showed Canadians were so supportive of Kyoto back in 2002 prior to ratification. Canadians were led to follow the nonsense instead of the money – and understanding of climate change science and greenhouse gas issues.

Note that the article appeared as an editorial – not just a journalist’s story.  One could have hoped that journalists, editors, and Canadians could reveal some additional knowledge on the topic by 2004, but any such expectation seems forlorn.

My perpetual optimism leads me to think we may at least be treated to some entertaining news should Russia ratify Kyoto, and Canadian politicians are compelled to seek a way to wriggle out of, or pay for on our behalf, for  the Kyoto commitment Canada will not meet.
