RE: [cdn-nucl-l] another PL refurb delay....



I suspect that the 2008 date is unachievable. We are just starting up after
our fall outage and our startup has been delayed while we fixed 3 cracked
feeder pipes on our reactor.Each year we seem to be finding more of these
cracked feeders. The cracking mechanism seems to be a combination of flow
assisted corrosion and stress corrosion cracking.I suspect that it will be
uneconomical to delay the refurbishment to 2008.
