Dear Friends,

By now, you probably have noticed the information about "ICTR2003
Pre-Conference Symposium" on BNCT to be held March 16 as posted on this list
earlier in the morning. Those of you who, from the invited panel and
presentations, got the impression that clinical BNCT activities are limited
to EORCT trials, Harvard/MIT BNCT Program, and the Pavia extra-corporal BNCT
project, might like to know that a total of 63 patients have been treated at
other European facilities (Rez, Studsvik, VTT), which Wolfgang keep to
neglect and that a first Phase III randomized trials of BNCT for GBM are
under preparation in Sweden.

A paper on the first group of 5 GBM patients treated  with BNCT (using BSH) has been presented at the 10th ICNCT by Burian et al. (see the proceedings, pp. 1107-1112).
