[cdn-nucl-l] Some more references
Bill,
Thank you for creating a single pdf for the ANL Summary. Thanks to you I have a whole thing also now :-)
Here are some more references you might find interesting:
H.J. Moe, Operational Health Physics Training
http://www.nukeworker.com/study/hp/moe/
I found this book a very good HP stuff overview when I studied for my CHP test Part I. Hope you or your students will like it also.
The U.S. DOE put together a lot of their publication to the web also at:
http://tis.eh.doe.gov/techstds/standard/appframe.html
You can find references on chemistry, physics, mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity, etc. Your students might be interested in the following:
DOE Fundamentals Handbook, Nuclear Physics and Reactor Theory, Volume 1 of 2 (142 pages)
PDF (3464 KB)
http://tis.eh.doe.gov/techstds/standard/hdbk1019/h1019v1.pdf
DOE Fundamentals Handbook, Nuclear Physics and Reactor Theory, Volume 2 of 2 (128 pages)
PDF (1988 KB)
http://tis.eh.doe.gov/techstds/standard/hdbk1019/h1019v2.pdf
Of course, these books are not as good as Lamarsh or Glasstone texts, but ... they are free.
Take care,
Igor
