There were no incidents at NGS of Russia, accomponied with radioactive
emission, for the last 9 months of 2002. The average individual received
doze for staff on all NGS is 1,9 mSv (millisieverts), that approximately 25
times less than an annual limit of permissible doze for the staff,
established by the Russian radiation safety standards, as informed
“Rosenergoatom” press centre.
Annual average received doze for NGS staff in 2002 have decreased by 8,6%,
in comparison with 2001.
Gas-aerosol vent activity and debalanced liquid dumps from NGS do not exceed
several percents of the permissible values of Sanitary Regulatory Authority
standards. As well as in the previous years, NGS operation influence on the
population and an environment does not create detectable overpatching by the
radiating control devices, also is emphasized.
