Pollutant emissions to atmosphere from Russian Nuclear Generation stations
in 2000 have made up 0.008% from all polluting emissions in Russia (total
approximately 18,820,000 tons) and less than 0.04% from emissions of the
traditional power enterprises (gas, hydro and thermal power stations –
3,856,000 tons).
Pollutant emissions to atmosphere from Russian Nuclear Generation stations
have made up 30% from maximum annual permissible emission in 2001. That
information was imparted by “Rosenergoatom” press centre on Tuesday.
