Dear John,
Dr. John Cameron, a member of the Technical
Advisory Panel that reviewed the NSWS as it progressed, recently
submitted a 17-page article on this study to the Health Physics
Journal. It is a very clear explanation of how the NSWS was carried
out and the results obtained. Hopefully it will be published soon and
clarify this matter.
While there was asbestos involved, the workers that
were compared did similar work.
There still appears to be a rather strong
correlation between radiation exposure and mortality.
Jerry

Why not down load it from this site for free?

I'll
tell you, I really don't think this was a radiation related study, but
more an asbestos study. The radiation exposures were much too
low to be meaningful (just a few percent of background exposures in
most cases).
