The Canadian Association for the Club of Rome is hosting a debate on the
future of Nuclear Energy.

Tuesday June 5th between 9:30 am and 11:30 am
(arrivals from 9:00 am)
at The Place Next Door, 320 Rideau St. in Ottawa
 
What are the social, economic and environmental advantages and disadvantages
of nuclear power generation?
 
Is it a solution to Climate Change, or a delaying tactic for a cultural
style that is already over due for fundamental change?
 
Featured will be a former Atomic Energy of Canada Limited proponent of
nuclear energy Fred Boyd and Don Dainty who has studied the issue for NRCAN.
Representing a non-nuclear future will be veteran anti-nuclear activists,
Ralph Torrie and Gordon Edwards from the Canadian Coalition for Nuclear
Responsibility.
