About destc-l

Welcome to the mailing list for the newsletter of the IEEE Control Systems Technical Committee Group on Discrete Event Systems (DESTC), a part of the IEEE Control Systems Society Technical Activities Board. The DESTC was established on June 1, 1999, and subsumes the activities of the Working Group on Discrete Event Systems. The DESTC aims to promote communication between DES researchers, scholars, students, and practitioners. We encourage participation by submitting contributions (announcements, articles, etc.) to the newsletter. To subscribe to the list, see section "Subscribing to destc-l" below. To change your subscription (get a reminder of your password, or unsubscribe from destc-l), enter your subscription email address in form at bottom, labelled "Edit Options." Using destc-l

Only the list owner is permitted to submit messages to the list. All other messages will be deleted. To submit a news article, use the article submission page here. To post a message to all the list members, send email to destc-l@McMaster.CA. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.

Subscribing to destc-l

Subscribe to destc-l by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the members list is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   You must enter a privacy password. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. destc-l Subscribers

The subscribers list is only available to the list administrator.
